Artist Statement

I’m a lens-based artist, and in my work I focus on queering the photographic process using techniques such long-exposure, over-exposure, analog methods, and alternative processing to create images. My work focuses on Queer people of color, specifically the concept of queer beauty and futurism. Utilizing elements of fantasy, horror, and world-building, I communicate and capture heightened versions of people’s essence, making them feel empowered in who they are.
